Life in a Southern Town

A fair amount has happened since I last scribed here. To be honest I was pleasantly surprised to find my blog had not been shut down by the State or the demanding silent minority who remained unsatisfied with the regularity of my blogging.
I will summarize recent goings on for the most part.

Football:

Bath City
Games attended: 1
League position: Bottom.
Form: Needs Improvement, scoring but need to find confidence and a clinical streak and fast.

Arsenal
Games attended: 1
League position: 7th
Form: Slowly finding consistency, terrible start.

Fun:

Holiday in Exmouth with Jemma and 'Moose'.
Target: To spend time with Jemma and enjoy the salty air, quaint little villages here and there.

Quality of hotel: Good - heated swimming pool in garden. Cooked breakfast and 5 minutes from the beach.

Time spent: Italian restaurant with lovely homemade food. Café made out of a train carriage, and a bat and ball game with Jemma which drew a fiercely vocal crowd.

Oddity: The minimum age of employment in Exmouth seemed to be about 8. In one café we were served by a boy who hadn't yet passed the stage where all girls are "yuck". I can't confirm if there are still chimney sweeps in that part of England though.
