Ever felt like your sense of reality has been warped and normality is a fleeting memory?
That's what Watkins and I felt like on Saturday night as Mr. Kitson romped to victory in the gladiatorial combat of Bomberman.
Sunday I worked most of the daylight hours, and "Simon Says" ladyfriend left to go to Southampton - home of the legendary Matthew le Tissier and one time harbour to the Queen Mary.
Today in honour of "Simon Says" mummy's birthday we went to the Hare & Hounds for a lovely meal. Good value, quality food and a lovely view down into the valley. Hare & Hounds offers "all the traditional favourites along with their eclectic specials."
We then bravely boarded a rowing boat which took on both definitions of the word as tempers flared and unspoken threat of man overboard was left hanging in the air. Gladly though no one got a free swim and we arrived home safely.
