In the words of Julius Caesar, "Vene, Vidi, Vici" - "I came, I saw, I conquered"! The combined might of the great John Watkins and the crafty Mr. K produced a sum total of 2 victories against my all powerful 5. This landmark victory came on Friday night after a scrumptious meal at Nandos which Mr. K tried unsuccessfully to turn into a two-day event.
This was the most notable occurrence of an otherwise quiet weekend. Other laudable achievements in the world of sport include England's demolition of Scotland 42-20 in rugby; Bath City's 2-0 victory against title 'rivals' Mangotsfield; and Tottenham's predictable attempt at resembling 11 retards on the football field, capitulating 0-4 to ManChester UNiTed.
Though these respectable results pail in comparison to my incredible conquest that reverberates around Bath as we speak. The King is dead, long live the New King!!
